Info: Look's 595 frame comes in two versions - the Origin is a more "standard" layup which balances light weight and ride quality against stiffness, while the Ultra is a sprinters' special, maximizing drivetrain stiffness for riders like Leonardo Duque. In the time trials, the riders will use the new 596, which debuted last year at the Tour. Unlike many TT bikes, which tuck the rear wheel in close to the frame, Look puts a distinct gap between the two, contending that wind-tunnel results show that when the wheels are spinning, the gap provides a cleaner exit path for airflow. The novel steering system includes a stem with adjustable height and angle to fine-tune rider position.
