Info: Alejandro Valverde will not take the start of the Tour, but his Caisse d'Epargne teammates will roll off the start line in Monaco aboard the FM1 Montello time trial bike. On the road, they'll use the Prince FP, a three-time winner of Editors Choice for best race bike. Both use Toray 50HM1K high-modulus carbon, and the Prince features external ribs to enhance stiffness.
